Alex & Connor
What started as gym buddies over a decade ago turned into college roommates, running the (self-proclaimed) healthiest house on campus. It was constant: one of us would find something, test it, and put the other onto it. Food, light, sleep, training, water.
For Alex, it started from necessity. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 3, conventional medicine offered limited hope. At 18 he took it into his own hands through diet, movement, and relentless research into natural remedies — and reached a pain-free life and remission from a disease that haunts so many. He went on to a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a focus on nutrition. That experience is where the whole approach comes from: the body heals when you give it the right tools and get out of the way.
For Connor, it started with a question he never thought to ask. Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, his idea of recovery was to be just healthy enough to keep going. What he never questioned was everything around that recovery: the food he ate, the clothes he wore, and even how well he slept. Rooming with Alex in college changed that — it turned into a house that started reading labels, questioning ingredients, and treating your body as something you build instead of something you maintain. That grew into a real passion for living a clean, healthy life. He went on to graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Wealth Management, and he brings that business mindset to turning the approach into a brand built to last.
Then we looked at what we were wearing.
One day we landed on a conversation that, by the time it finished, we knew was the one. We started working immediately.
We both already knew the issue. Most performance apparel is petroleum-based synthetic — it traps heat, holds odor, stiffens over time, and sits against your skin for hours while you're hot, sweating, and your pores are wide open.
And it wasn't that we hadn't tried. We lived as cleanly as a college budget allowed and cut what we could cut. But this one we looked past — not because it didn't matter, but because there was nothing to switch to. You can buy better food. You couldn't buy a rashguard that wasn't plastic.
So we decided to make it — starting with a fabric grown rather than refined from plastic.
